• Click Detailing menu, then Doors.

Filter and Replace

• Check boxes to activate Filter and Replace entry lines.

Filter

1. Change Arch type F from Type FNV5 to FNV6.
2. On the Filter Line, type GR in the Mfg Code box.
3. Type F in Arch Type box.
4. Click Red Check Mark in Filter: title block.

Replace

1. Change Arch Type F from Type FNV5 to FNV6.
2. In the Replace Line, type GR in Mfg Code box.
3. Type FNV6 in Arch Type box.
4. Click Red Check Mark in Replace: title block.

A few tips on Filter and Replace:

• Manufacturer’s code must be entered in Replace row in order to validate attributes.
• Entering a # sign in a field in Replace row, clears information in column below or does not enter Defaults information in column below.

 Add Non-hardware Preps and Add-ons

1. Click on Replace Preps icon.
2. Click Add button.

Preps Search and Select

1. The user can search by any columnby typing in any box on the Search Line, circled in red below.

   

2. Selection is narrowed by what is typed.
3. Hi-lite Selection.
4. Left click and drag to box at right, Or click Add button.
5. Click OK to continue.

Global Preps Replacement

• Click Ok to continue.

• The Lite kits will be added under Preps.

 Add Notes

1. Click on Paper icon.
2. Enter note.
3. Click Ok to continue.

 Validation

• To ensure doors will be found in catalog database and priced:

• Check Validated box to have system run a check against catalog to find any invalid product configurations.

  

• To limit openings shown on screen to Unvalidated rows only:

• Right click on Validated check box and select Show only unvalidated rows from drop down menu.

  

• If having difficulty determining what combination of attributes causes line to not Validate,  Check Show Valid Attributes Only box.
• Enter Manufacturer code.
• Select Attribute that must be on door.
• Fields after the must-have attribute will contain filtered lists of valid attributes.
